A review of "Just Three Lines"!

Just Three Lines evokes the magic of ordinary things through the simplicity of words in the form of a haiku. Fruits, birds, grass are some of the everyday things that we ignore, but the haiku encapsulate the richness of color and texture of the images that give the reader a brand new experience of a well-known situation. The joy of biting into a blueberry muffin, the taste of lemonade on a breezy afternoon, or trying to beat the waves while making sandcastle are small pleasures of life that we have taken for granted. By including these elements in Just Three Lines, Sheila gives young readers a chance recapture the joys of simpler things in their lives.
